The Future of ELD

Surely, all of us and I really hope our department is getting better every time. Dynamic moving forward from time to time to be better, more developed, more innovative and more integrated.

I felt a lack of connectivity between lecturers and students. I also felt, being in this major is tantamount to being in graduate school. Even though I know we should be more independent at this major, but this is the beginning of our life, the university should provide some intensive directions for the students, with a parable “Students should be given the ball to being led into the goal”. I strongly feel the lack of expectation of the university authorities for the progress and success of every student.

I can only hope that the university should be more concerned with the progress and success of students than anything else. Because student success will be catapulted the name of the university itself as well. Success means achievement, accomplishment, victory, and triumph. The dictionary states that success is “The achievement of something desired, planned, or attempted; the gaining of fame or prosperity” (The Dictionary.com n.pag.) and “The favorable or prosperous termination of anything attempted; the attainment of a proposed object; prosperous issue” (Hypertext Webster Gateway n.pag.). These are just dictionary definitions, though. One needs examples and instances in order to fully understand the meaning of success.
